I want to change my current job, which requires lots of travel. I also want to change industry, but feel that many jobs are strict on work experience, but I can't learn much from jobs that don't require much related experience. How to find the job that matches my dream?

You don’t mention what your dream is, but I don’t think the limitations you describe about the type of jobs that are available to you are exactly true.  Meaning, most jobs don’t require you to travel a lot.  There are also many jobs out there that don’t need previous work experience, but that are challenging and you can learn a lot from.

比方说，我认识很多成功人士，从事招聘、人力资源、零售、公关、客服、商服和销售的都有，在这之前他们也没什么经验。一点相关经验也没有的也很多。看你的情况，你还在事业初期。如果你已经有了一些扎实的技能，比如说沟通、人力或者项目管理，有很多要求相关经验的行业和工作你已经可以尝试了。

For example, I know many very successful people who got into recruitment, HR, retail, PR, client services, business services, account management and sales jobs without a lot of previous experience in these areas.  Many had no related experience at all.  In your situation, it sounds like you’re still very early in your career.  If you’ve built some solid skills so far, like communication and people skills or some project management skills, then you should be able to get into many different industries and job functions that look for a type of person as much (or more) as a type of experience when hiring.

For instance, most of the people I hire have no previous recruitment or HR experience.  But they’re very self-motivated, service- and value-oriented, and results-driven, so have the key qualities needed to be successful in our company and industry.  So I really encourage you to make a greater effort to explore other possibilities out there.  Talk to more people.  Certainly, as long as you’re mature, reliable, and have some solid experience and skills to offer, there should be many job options and companies that will be open to hiring you.
