Someone may know the actual statistics, but it’s a well-known fact that over 90% of new businesses don’t make it past their 2nd year. So to think that becoming an entrepreneur instead of just staying in a job where you earn a low salary is a good alternative, big mistake!
Because the reality is this. Starting a business that will fail is easy. And many do. But the key word is, successful. Running a successful start-up is a completely different story. Most can’t do it. Because you’re going to work twice as hard. You’re going to face huge pressure. And get this. You likely won’t even pay yourself the first 1-2 years as you put everything you earn back into your business and just try to survive.
No, the reason to start your own business is because you’ve got an idea or something you want to do that you’re passionate about. That you’re willing to fight like hell for. And that you’re willing to risk everything for. These are the type of entrepreneurs that start and run a successful business. So my advice. Don’t quit your job thinking that becoming an entrepreneur is a better alternative. Unless, you’re ready to sacrifice everything and do the things that successful entrepreneurs do.
